After dedicating 20-plus years of my career toward building successful brands in marketing and business development roles, in 2015 I shifted my focus and energy toward protecting brands from the increasing global threat of counterfeiting, diversion and product tampering (a.k.a. illicit trade). That’s when I joined the Global Brand Protection team of a leading multi-national healthcare company and helped that organization double its budget, triple its staff, and significantly improve its effectiveness and the value it delivered to the business. My expertise includes all aspects of Brand Protection program strategy and operations, including managing people, processes, and technologies, problem solving, and collaborating internally and externally to deliver results. I’m a strong advocate of a strategic, proactive and preventive risk management approach to BP as the most effective way to combat the problem.
